Labyrinth

The labyrinth is an ancient archtype. Found in all religious traditions in various forms, this ancient design spans the globe as well as thousands of years. At its essence, the labyrinth is a path of prayer, a journey for the soul. A winding, unicursal path leading toward the center and back out again. In applying everything that you experience on the walk as a metaphor, the labyrinth becomes a window into the soul and its sacred journey.
Unlike a maze, in the labyrinth there are no dead ends and there is nothing to solve. You will simply find a sacred path in a sacred circle leading to a deeper connection with God, with others, and with your deepest soul. Simply following the winding path allows a quieting of the mind and a freeing of the soul to hear the silence of the Spirit.
